Packed weekend

Saturday ride and Wedding Bouquent Sunday: Cycling race, Jet-boating, Meeting friends Tour of Hong Kong Shanghai (Cycling Race, stage 1, Heng Fa Chuen) A very packed Sunday! First half was about cycling race in Heng Fa Chuen!! It's a very rare chance to see a lot of cyclists racing in my place! It makes Heng Fa Chuen becomes so busy and so green! Very happy for that, and very happy to support my cycling club "CMS Cycling"! Kenji was leading the team to do their best, Jermey was supporting in the background, also met Ivan, Raymond and Gabriel for their HSBC ride! Second half was about the sea! 6 hours of adventures with friends, music, wine, speed and full taste of swells! Speaking up all the way! We rode the waves from Aberdeen to Po Toi Island for seafood lunch, bumped into DanDan at the time we left! She is still looking very good! Then we rode all the way from Po Toi to Tai Long Sai Wan in Sai Kung! Alone the eastern shore of Hong Kong (off-shore sometime!!)! That was

Saturday ride (50/50)

Today ride we have Rockson as usual and Shek O Yee, Jacky called for sick leave. 10k warm up, 5k speed (out Shek O) and 5k normal (in Shek O) x 5, 3k warm down Great ride for this 50/50 format. Polar not working, no heart rate recording....

Saturday Ride...

Today usual ride with Jacky and Rockson, the plan was 5 x 10k loop, first 30k at constant pace and the last 20k with some break-away and catch. After the 5k warm-up, Shek O Yee joint in, Jacky bumped up to 32kmph out Shek O! Damn it are we suppose to keep it lower?? To draft or to leave as Rockson's friend with lower ability was far behind! We regroup after the chaos then the solid ride began! Keeping at 30-32kmph out Shek O, 35-37kmph inbound Shek O, look at the heart rate! The tirth loop pedalling very hard! Rockson lead 35-38kmph out Shek O! My god he gone crazy! I was quite dead but no choice but forget about the cadence and gear up the big ring on the front, fourth loop is my lead, already dead but keep pedaling very hard, pushing the heart rate! Rockson wheel touching Jacky and he fallen off....so the last lap is the most constant one. These two guys are bit angry these days.

Breaking News: Nomura to buy Lehman Brother Asian Operations

Nomura wins auction for Lehman's Asian Ops... One of the historical event of my firm. TOKYO/HONG KONG - JAPAN'S Nomura Holdings is to buy the Asian operations of Lehman Brothers, a source with direct knowledge of the deal said on Monday, outbidding other banks seeking to scoop up the bankrupt US bank's Asian assets. The source did not say how much the deal was worth, nor did he say if certain Lehman units were excluded from the agreement. The Wall Street Journal reported that the deal is worth US$225 million (S$319 million). Nomura and Britain's Barclays have also bid for parts of Lehman's business in Europe, as administrators seek to save as many jobs and salvage as much business as possible from the wreckage of what was Wall Street's fourth biggest investment bank. Barclays is interested in Lehman's European equities businesses, a person familiar with the matter said. That could include 1,000-1,500 bankers and support staff, mostly in London, out of Lehman

Why Campagnolo Bora Ultra?

from Tri Gear Review Gear: Campagnolo Bora Ultra: Remarkably Smooth Ride The first thing you notice about Campagnolo's Bora Ultras is their beauty. Due to their looks or perhaps because they are relatively rare and so expensive, few wheelsets draw as many remarks. The carbon weave of the rim and hub is far more exciting than the black plastic look of most competitors’ carbon wheels. Moreover, they look and feel remarkably well made and the individual parts are well integrated. The hub, axle and bearing assembly is especially nice and easy to work with. I also like the way the spokes just seem to disappear into carbon; there's no nipple or flange that you can see, they just poke through the hub and then slide back into the rim. This may be one reason why they perform so well in the wind tunnel. I installed Tufo Elite Jet tires on the Boras with Tufo Extreme tape. Tires mount to the Boras just like they do to any other carbon tubular wheel. I use Tufo Elite Jet tires on every w

Recap 2008-09-20 Goodbye Bali!

Yoga master Without climbing the mountain, we can go Yoga class in the morning, we have the same Yoga teacher and the class only have two of us. Felt like the postures were moving to more intermediate level as he known our level after the first class. After the class, we chated for a while during the watermelon time, he not only is a yoga teacher, but also a lifestyle promoter to promote the living with good physical and mental health, he has strong organic belief and his voice is very claim and peaceful. It doesn't convince me to go with his path but at some point I was inspired. I felt I catch a little trick in Yoga compare with scretching for sports. Again we went for the big breakfast, I miss the pool, it was super sunny day, but G want to visit the nearby temple, let's go and take a look! Goodbye Bali! After temple, I couldn't wait jumping back to the pool, for some swim for some shot, checked out at 1pm, time to go airport, and say goodbye to Swam, and to Bali, the Is

Recap 2008-09-19 The Chedi Club Ubud

We started the day by yoga class! The yoga teacher already waiting but only two of us attend the class, it was another very nice experience in doing Yoga and looking over the rice field and blue sky! Also very good to scretch our body by some simple yoga postures, breathing, inhale, focus and relax...watermelon and some lemongrass, furit serves after the class, I like this! The breakfast at the Chedi Club resturant is quite a lot even for both of us! There are glass of smoothies, bread/toast basket, fruit plate, sausage, egg, coffee, tea...and they are all from the organic farm in the resort!!! We spent the day in the swimming pool, swimming, taking pictures, while G busy reading the guide book to climb the volcano!!! Oh No... Climb the mountain?! She looked determinant, and ambitous! I actually prepared the gear, I packed windbreaker, head-light, power gel into my bag...G confirmed with Swam for the arrangement, 2:30am wake-up, 3am pickup to the starting point, 4am start walking so wi
