All of our dearest friends, thank you so much for being part of the Charles and Gigi events from September to October, Bali to Shek O! We just came back from our honeymoon and we are throwing the post-wedding party for all friends to eat and drink and recall our moments in Bali, we are also preparing some pictures to share! 13 September 2008, Sunny day at Bali! Schedule: 8:00am Morning workout: swimming 9:00am Breakfast with Groomsmen 10:30am Getting Together! 11:00am Get the Bride! 12:30pm Lunch at Westin with everyone 01:30pm Group transport to Ritz Carlton 02:30pm Check-in Ritz Carlton, venue preparation 05:00pm Wedding Ceremony 05:30pm Wedding Cocktail 07:00pm Wedding Dinner and Party Morning workout: swimming It supposed to be morning run but my medial meniscus in my knee hurted recently so changed to morning swim, George was good enourge to really show up in the pool at 8am! John also came to the pool and joint the swim! Chiam said the gym looks nice so he went for a run, my brother and Sing was still sleeping....As Ki wanted to take a few more *bed time* shot with me and G in the morning so I just swam for 30mins to wake myself up! Breakfast with Groomsmen I re-joint Chiam, John and George for the breakfast after taking few shot on the bed! It was a bit rush for me but very nice to sit down with so...

Buffet breakfast at about 8am and our families already there! This morning would be pre-wedding shot and make-up trial by Ki and Cha Ling, afternoon would be wedding rehearsal in Ritz Carlton, evening would be sunset dinner with all friends just arrived! After the breakfast Alanie and Keith, Ki and Cha Ling arrived at our room, they are all the playful-minded happy people! G was easy to be influenced so she quickly got back the mood! By the time Cha Ling was seeing the dress of G and trying the make-up, Alanie and Keith brought Ki to walk around the Westin and look for some scene, I was typing G's complaint letter on the blackberry and sending to any room service manager, executive manager....anyone we could shot! A few minutes after pressing the send, my telephone ring and he was the Room Service Manager, acknowledging the receive of the email and understanding our problem, we agreed to talk about it during lunch break as we were busy preparing for the wedding shot, G didn't w...

Before the alarm clock ring, my dad already called me and said "We are just on the bus A12, how about you?" Of course I replied "Yes we wake up already!" I just washed my eyes and it was 5:40am. G and I both waked up, washed up, frankly I couldn't say we were happy in that morning. Sonic fat-Kin, the van driver, already arrived at our building on time, 6:15am, G wasn't ready yet, so I moved all pieces of luggage to the Van first... I put my wedding dress and shoes altogether with some photography/lighting equipments from our photographer Ki into one luggage, that's solely for wedding; I used an Orca triathlon training bag which big enough for all holiday clothes, that's solely for vocation. My hand-carry bag included the vintage film camera by Ki and freshly made mooncake by Mary as the gift of wedding. G had two luggage for all the clothes and wedding decorative materials, including our guestbooks, pre-wedding photo albums... We also had one box of ...

The day was approaching, we both took 2 days off for the final preparation, G was busy preparing some nice decorative for the wedding cocktail and reception to top-up the overall decoration. I was busy wrapping up all the red/white wine bottles for the flight check-in...we both were very busy and running around for anything like making sure of all currencies and cash and Lai-See enough and also about the family and friends arrangement, group travel itinerary, wedding day schedule final checkup, decorative materials packing, emailing all friends and family for the flight check-in, seat confirmation, reminding the Bali airport pick-up arrangement, time was flying so quick and we were still not able to confirm where to go and where to stay for our honeymoon, it was mid-night already, no plan could be a good plan but we were not backpacking this time so we should have something nicer! 19 July, a day in Grand Hyatt This was the last day in Grand Hyatt we normally spent time in the resort. My usual routine, 30mins jog + shower + breakfast. It was Saturday, the resort was more busy in the weekend, people already queued up for the pool side cafe where were quite quiet in the day before. Background music was loud that didn't seem to fit the morning. We didn't stay long and moved to the beach right after the breakfast. It was still super sunshine, couldn't help to jump into the water to feel the indian ocean! It was the day of full moon, swell was strong, current was also strong that I could feel. Not really for surfing and swimming but body-boarding was fine. We got tanned for a while from the beach then moved to the pool. Many people staying on the pool but they didn't swim, typical resort style. We took a few shots there! Weather was lovely anyway!! Until 12:00, we went back for packing and check-out. 18 July, another day to prepare our wedding! My usual routine, 30mins jog before the breakfast. Then we grabbed a taxi to Ritz Carlton for a meeting with Mada Astika, our wedding coordinator, a young and nice guy. He first brought us to the venue Asmara Gazebo, where our wedding would take place, introducing the surrounding and explaining what and how the environment would be setup, we also moved to the very modern decorated preparation room for the bride and the groom, then we sit down for a meeting and confirmed the rundown and some of the outstanding tasks. Oh! A meeting at Ritz Carlton!! G felt another unleash as our wedding became more visualizing! We then ran into the resort of Ritz Carlton Bali and checking in checking out some rooms that we eagered to stay at, well.... 17 July, photo shoting day for pre-wedding! 6:30am, phone alarm ringing, the plan was to take a 30mins jog before the breakfast as the crew from Photo Factory will come to our room at 8am. But why did they ring the bell at 7am? "Hello Good morning Charles we are from Photo Factory, how are you?" Greeting from Photo Factory. "Oh Hi! Good morning, you guys aren't coming at 8am? What is the time now?" I asked. "It's 4 minutes past 8." "Oh really!! It's 8am already!! GOoosh!!!"...@#$%@IU I quickly realized the mobile phone time was in-synce with the network provider as the provider was in Jakata time and it was 1 hour before Bali time!!! DAMN!!!!! But don't worry, as they need to do make up for G, so I went to Garden Cafe to grab some bread for G, I did my 30mins run during her make up. I was ready and prepare for the shot as I trained hard and eat heathy for my body, but G didn't seem to be that prepare even though she tried hard...

Haven't been really go oversea holiday with G after moving out. It was 16 July. We waked up at 5:30am, grabed a taxi to the bus station and headed to the airport. We had a quick breakfast, grabbed a few magazines (Cycle Sport, Men's Health my flavours) then caught the 10am flight to Depensar, Bali, the place we've been missing since year 2003. At the time we boarding we met Nerrida Rigg!! The organizer of Splash N Dash Aquathon and Deep Water Ocean swim series !! She and her family were also going to Bali, Nusa Dua!! 4 hours of flight, landing on the beautiful super sunshine lovely Bali Island at just 2pm! Grabbed a taxi and checked in to room 3258 Grand Hyatt at Nusa Dua at 4pm. After settling down, a quick shower and walked around the resort and checked out the beach!! Lovely! We then sit down and ate something at Garden Cafe and welcomed by the hospitable staff. We were hungry and dared not to eat much as we aimed at keeping fit for the pre-wedding photo shoting next da...
