Recap 2008-09-12 pre-wedding shot, rehearsal, dinner

Buffet breakfast at about 8am and our families already there!
This morning would be pre-wedding shot and make-up trial by Ki and Cha Ling, afternoon would be wedding rehearsal in Ritz Carlton, evening would be sunset dinner with all friends just arrived!

After the breakfast Alanie and Keith, Ki and Cha Ling arrived at our room, they are all the playful-minded happy people! G was easy to be influenced so she quickly got back the mood! By the time Cha Ling was seeing the dress of G and trying the make-up, Alanie and Keith brought Ki to walk around the Westin and look for some scene, I was typing G's complaint letter on the blackberry and sending to any room service manager, executive manager....anyone we could shot! A few minutes after pressing the send, my telephone ring and he was the Room Service Manager, acknowledging the receive of the email and understanding our problem, we agreed to talk about it during lunch break as we were busy preparing for the wedding shot, G didn't want her mood to be ruined again.

G was very happy with the make-up by Cha Ling, Alanie and Keith also very busy running around to assist Ki and us on different styling and posture, of course Ki is a very good photographer we believe in and the styling by her was very contemporary, it was a very pleasure and funny photo wedding experience, we didn't need to care about the outcome and the styling as it has been guided by Ki, unlike last time in Bali, we had to design a lot of reference and styling. Keith's help was also impress G and myself very much! We gone though a lot of shot, such as acting as a hotel staff, some were very funny, some were very classy! G was very happy in the morning.

We finished the shot at around 1:30pm, the room service manager came to meet us and said they can upgrade our room to the presidential suites and apologized for the displeasure experience in our first day, then they helped us to transfer everything to the presidential suites. Once we settled, the executive manager appeared, greeting with us and said how he could do to re-established their service for our stay! Of course this wasn't what we asked for, we just expected they would provide quality service and attention to some detail, at the moment, we could only accept their offer and apology. For me, as long as G is happy with it, I'm okay.

After all, we met Alanie group and grabbed some food, met the family at 2:45pm after their free activities and head to Ritz for wedding rehearsal....

We felt more comfortable when we saw the venue was being setup and decorating, we met our wedding coordinator Made and walked thought the whole process again. The thing became concrete! G was smiling!

Our families were chilling by the Indian Ocean in the Ritz Carlton, quite relaxing!

As scheduled, we went to Teba Cafe of Jimbarran Bay for sunset seafood dinner. G and I had been so tired after the day, I couldn't think of anything to assit my family for the ordering...felt like in the halt condition...okay, by G assited, seafood dinner set for 2!! it included everything!!

Ki, Cha Ling, Alanie and Keith already headed out to the beach for photos and for play, Chi and Nat also arrived even their taxi dropped them in Four Season (our restaurant is at JL. Four Season, means the Road of Four Season...) Raymond arrived, Winnie and Lew, Elaine and Fok also arrived with by private limos...by the time, Alanie and Keith met a japanese couple on the beach and we all played together with the sunset!

Sonic group arrived when the sun was low, PolyU group finally arrived when our family finished the dinner....we were very busy introducing our family to all friends, and happy chi-chatting with all friends and listening to their stories of this journey!! Knowing that John almost lost his luggage while talking to Chiam on the mobile, George and Sa forgot to take 2 bottles of wine from the bell; Stephanie, Lyn and Elsie were very happy to be in Bali!! Sheran and Joy missed the flight and took HK Express...Chi and Nat felt excited by the villa they stayed in, Winnie, Elaine, Lew and Fok were very happy with the Gangsa private villa!! We were also telling our story in Westin....Somehow it was a very good pre-wedding dinner with friends, very warm and cozy, just like another social party even though we were quite tired mentally.

Some of them went to Ku De Ta for some drinks afterward but we called it a day.
Next day would be the wedding day.

Why Campagnolo Bora Ultra?

from Tri Gear Review Gear: Campagnolo Bora Ultra: Remarkably Smooth Ride The first thing you notice about Campagnolo's Bora Ultras is their beauty. Due to their looks or perhaps because they are relatively rare and so expensive, few wheelsets draw as many remarks. The carbon weave of the rim and hub is far more exciting than the black plastic look of most competitors’ carbon wheels. Moreover, they look and feel remarkably well made and the individual parts are well integrated. The hub, axle and bearing assembly is especially nice and easy to work with. I also like the way the spokes just seem to disappear into carbon; there's no nipple or flange that you can see, they just poke through the hub and then slide back into the rim. This may be one reason why they perform so well in the wind tunnel. I installed Tufo Elite Jet tires on the Boras with Tufo Extreme tape. Tires mount to the Boras just like they do to any other carbon tubular wheel. I use Tufo Elite Jet tires on every w

Handsome boy modeling school

The Lapel Buttonhole Posted on March 29, 2012 4 If your dinner jacket was constructed without a lapel buttonhole and you wish your tailor to add one so that you may sport a boutonniere (which the British confusingly also call a “buttonhole”), you have a couple of options. You can get a keyhole shaped opening like the ones used for the jacket’s waist and sleeve buttons or you can get a straight hole like the one shown here. Some will argue that the latter is a mark of a better suit but the fact is that both styles are used by quality suitmakers. Therefore it’s a matter of personal preference. I’m partial to the inconspicuousness of the straight option given the very visible placement of the hole high up on the chest and (usually) surrounded by satin. Also, whether your buttonhole is original or “after market” (as automotive enthusiasts would say), consider having a thread added behind the lapel to hold the flower in place. A more fussy alternative is a minature boutonniere hol

IRONMAN Certified Coach

I took a chance of my mid-season break between two major race to attend the coaching course. I've done some research on the pros and cons, Trisutto disagree with the M-Dot coaching concept said it was misleading and not qualified for high performance coaching. http://trisutto.com/ironman-university-it-gets-worse/ Yes I agree you will not be qualified for high performance coaching but the course content did deliver wide aspect of knowledge you need to finish a IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 event. That's the key. The course lead you to become a coach for the beginner or intermediate triathlete that aim to finish the race in the systematic approach. That's the majority of triathlete who are just working hard for their PB instead of podium finish or a Kona slot. So I am more lean towards this post: http://bri-tri.com/2016/01/09/ironman-university-certified/ So I go register and pay for that US$599!!! Over the last 13 yrs of my triathlon journey and learning from coach Kenneth, it ma

2017 PuYuMa 113 Triathlon

Road to Puyuma113 Triathlon After the year of sabbatical of triathlon in 2016, I picked up the training again last December to condition my body prior the training program from Jan to Mar. It was a repeat of 2014. Just I ran slower pace during the training. Still, I made used of the winter season in Hong Kong to gain back my fitness, I took the half marathon at China Coast and HK Marathon as my training run even my run time was quite disappointing. I more or less take the same training schedule as in 2014 and 2015. Monday: Sonic interval/tempo run 1.5 hours Tuesday: My own bike turbo 1 - 1.5 hours with little conditioning Wednesday: Sonic swim 1.5 - 2 hours Thursday: Office2Home run 1.5 hours Friday off Saturday: Long bike Sunday: Sonic Brick session I did little tricks on the schedule, gear and nutrition plan this time. On schedule and training plan, I add core and lower legs conditioning on Tuesday since I realised the lower part of the body is still the ke
