Saturday ride and Wedding Bouquent
Sunday: Cycling race, Jet-boating, Meeting friends
Tour of Hong Kong Shanghai (Cycling Race, stage 1, Heng Fa Chuen)
A very packed Sunday! First half was about cycling race in Heng Fa Chuen!! It's a very rare chance to see a lot of cyclists racing in my place! It makes Heng Fa Chuen becomes so busy and so green! Very happy for that, and very happy to support my cycling club "CMS Cycling"! Kenji was leading the team to do their best, Jermey was supporting in the background, also met Ivan, Raymond and Gabriel for their HSBC ride!
Second half was about the sea!
6 hours of adventures with friends, music, wine, speed and full taste of swells! Speaking up all the way!
We rode the waves from Aberdeen to Po Toi Island for seafood lunch, bumped into DanDan at the time we left! She is still looking very good! Then we rode all the way from Po Toi to Tai Long Sai Wan in Sai Kung! Alone the eastern shore of Hong Kong (off-shore sometime!!)! That was the day with strong east wind about force 4 to force 5!! The wind bring up the swells, speaking up all the way from the east, very adventurous! And with a bit of feeling in the sense of the movie Miami Vice, while Colin Farrwell takes Gong Li for a drink from Miami to Hanava by the powerboat!! "One of these morning...." Moby music on!
hey...by the way, how long does it take? I've no idea about where we are after seeing Chai Wan in far view, I thought it won't take too long so I hold my natural break, but it seems to be quite long huh?! I was thinking "shall we stop here so I could jump into the sea?" but it's very wavey...
Finally we could have some moment of chill in Tai Long Sai Wan, swimming eating drinking...turning back at 5pm when the Sun is going to set, the return trip is more exciting as Wai was driving a lot faster and the sky was turning dark, it was beautiful but the sea was quite wavey so we all hold tight, no chance to get my camera. By the speed boat, it still took about 1.5hrs back to Aberdeen.
A great experience to know more about our surrounding! We met Frederic for a (fusion *progressive* French) dinner in Stanley, G was a bit sea sick, and slept like a baby after home, I was still very awake and still feeling riding some waves....next time should bring windbreaker and pee container!!

So, who said swimming in the beach is open water swimming? Open Water swimming could be all about dealing with chops, breaks, currents and SWELLS!!
